Custom Homes in Charleston

Known for its rich history, charming culture and stunning scenery, Charleston and the surrounding islands draw in 33 new residents every day.Not only is the quality of life in this area among the highest in the country, but there is also no shortage of friendly people, top-rated restaurants and breathtaking homes.

One of the custom builders known for making dream homes come to life is Camens Architectural Group. This firm’s design method involves listening to the client first and foremost, but also taking stock of a site’s potential in order to find the perfect balance for light and flow throughout a home. Camens’ awe-inspiring architectural creations can be found throughout Kiawah Island, Seabrook Island, Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, Daniel Island and Johns Island.

While visiting Sea Brook Island for the first time, architect Marc Camens fell in love with the lowcountry and decided to leave the Adirondacks and start a firm in the Charleston area.

Building a custom home in Charleston is ideal because it allows you to create a living space that incorporates the unique charm and beauty of the lowcountry. In addition to that, when you work with an experienced architect like Marc Camens, you can create the house of your dreams.

Charleston is the ideal place to build your dream home because of all that the area has to offer. The public schools are among the top in the nation and there are many ways to keep your family busy year round. If you are a young professional or someone just looking for a new job opportunity, Charleston boasts one of the lowest unemployment rates due to the growing presence of businesses in the emerging technology industry.

The cliche ‘work hard, play harder,’ is an integral part of the lowcountry culture. After a long work week you can go to the beach and soak up the sun, play 18 rounds of golf on perfectly manicured greens or check out one of the many restaurants, museums and attractions that Charleston has to offer.

Whether you are looking to build a luxurious summer home or you are in the market for a brand new home built just for you, the lowcountry is the perfect place to plant new roots.
